My passion was to be an artist. I earned my degree in Biology and later the opportunity availed itself to study art.

In painting landscapes, I am drawn to water and the land it surrounds. These scenes provide a variety of perspectives: scenic beauty, contrasting architectural structures and inviting human activities. Arriving at my composition, I focus on color to create a mood reflecting the atmospheric conditions. Light and its effect on the landscape are the most important elements in my painting. Being in the moment, enjoying the exploration and process, guides my work.
